It wasn’t the result we wanted at Hampden on Sunday but a special shout out has to go to the support and in particular the Green Brigade for their colourful display at the national stadium.

One fan caught this stunning picture of an Irish tri-colour ascending into the Glasgow air – coming from the GB section behind the goals

Take a look at this.

The bhoys were denied access to put up a display so they’ve improvised massively and come up with something rather spectacular.

Sadly, we didn’t get the win and we’re licking our wounds this morning. But stuff like this should certainly be acknowledged. Our fans are a different class when we all get together.

It was in stark contrast to the supporters over the other side of the stadium who were more interested in singing a certain song book that isn’t open to ‘everyone, anyone’.

Celtic can still make this a special season coming into the final five games of the season. The title isn’t won yet, but the bhoys are in a great position. If we manage to win the title, it will be an incredible feat and complete a league and cup double.

  1. Green Brigade bringing their A game again to Hampden.

Wonderful atmosphere with some wonderful songs. The Boys of the Old Brigade, given several lusty renditions, a long time personal favourite of my own.
