CELTIC are not short of midfielders but Ryan Christie is about to give Brendan Rodgers a big headache next season if he continues to impress for Aberdeen.

The on-loan midfielder showed a touch of class as he set up Aberdeen’s third goal in the Scottish Cup yesterday against Dundee Utd.

Christie has been ever present for The Dons this season as they look to secure second place and possibly push his parent club.

Style and play like this can only impress the Celtic manager and give the Irishman food for thought in the summer.

  1. Why Christie is not in the Celtic team now i don’t know. I can see him signing for Aberdeen permanently in the summer. Rodgers does not appear to like him or rate him.

  2. Rodgers doesn’t like either Christie or Scott Allan. Unfortunately both have the ability to unlock packed defences either by direct running or with a killer pass, something we sadly lack at the minute.
Get them both in hoops and replace some of this seasons strugglers.

  3. Rogers will bring young Christie home, there is much that can happen before the season is finished, and this kid has it in buckets, Rogers knows it, there will be changes to our line up for next season.HH
