CELTIC managed to get the win in the end but it wasn’t easy. A 95th minute winner made sure of all three points and sent the Celtic fans into a euphoric state after 94minutes of frustration.

The team was again patched up for the game against Dundee and had Callum McGregor on for a full 90 minutes which, after a lengthy lay off was not ideal. Celtic’s defence, like a lot of games this season was patched up. Boyata had picked up a knock, Jozo too, Benkovic has just come back from injury and was already on the bench which again, was not ideal.

Lennon chose to play Jeremy Toljan and Mikael Lustig with the Swede taking up the centre back role in Boyata’s absence alongside Ajer.

With all that in mind, it must have been a kick in the teeth to Jack Hendry who didn’t even make the matchday squad. Unless he has picked up a knock and Neil Lennon hasn’t made us aware, the Irishman chose to play a right back at centre back and have a guy coming off an injury as a back up (Which he had to use) instead of bringing Hendry into the fold. Is this a sign his Celtic days are numbered if Lennon gets the job? Or is the Irishman doing what Brendan Rodgers wanted to do and protect him while he tries to improve?
