CELTIC had a sloppy start in Bosnia, but they soon hit their stride and thanks to goals from Mikey Johnston, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair the bhoys are in a comfortable position with the tie.
Celtic looked rusty in the early going and that was understandable, the weather conditions not helping things and the Sarajevo pitch cutting up badly. There were a number of great performances on the night but there’s one man who hasn’t been given enough credit after coming on in the second half.
Young Lewis Morgan, fresh off a loan move from Sunderland did very well when he came on an set up the third goal for Scott Sinclair. Most fans are talking up Mikey Johnston’s potential [and rightfully so] but as one fan points out below – had this been a new signing that came off the bench to make their debut, the fans would be gushing over Lewis.
Job well done #Celtic! Occasional bombscare at the back but heads didn’t drop after the goal, we attacked intelligently, fitness levels already look at a great level and Lewis Morgan performance a real bonus. 👏👏👏
