Celtic supports have been provided with an update over the possibility of away allocations entering grounds this season.

Supporter Liason Officer John Paul Taylor was answering fans queries on social media this afternoon and gave fans an insight into the possibility of seeing Celtic fans inside away grounds this season.

He revealed that the home clubs would be able to provide away tickets at their discretion. However, fans appear to have been given a positive boost with the fact Motherwell will host 2000 Hibernian fans for this weekend’s Scottish Premiership opener.

When asked about the possibility of Hoops fans being inside Ibrox for the away derby fixture, the Celtic SLO answered, ‘Need to wait and see….’.

Over the past 18 months, supporters have had to go without being allowed in a stadium and finally, we are seeing things slowly return to normality with that.

The potential boost of away fans would be massive for some supporters who spend their weekends travelling up and down the country to support the club.
