We reported a few weeks ago that Celtic had sealed a deal for Armstrong Okoflex after the youngster turned down an Arsenal Scholarship to join up with the hoops.

At the time, the midfielder was seen from afar holding up a Celtic jersey with his name on it while getting a tour of Celtic Park.

We expected Celtic to announce the deal but they never formally did.

The player has since turned up today at training with the first team ahead of Celtic’s second leg clash against Rosenborg tomorrow.

Brendan Rodgers likes to give his youngsters a taste of first team training from time to time, especially when they first come in to see how they’ll react.

Australian Leo Mazis got the same treatment upon his arrival.

The exciting young star will no doubt play a part in Celtic’s developmental squad this year.

  1. Yes Tim, but we need to look at what we have, Boyata, Jozo, Hendry, Ajar, Commper and we have also put Bitton in there, So while we may not be happy with that, is it likely that we will spend on this area? ajar and Hendry are still learning, Commper,,, God knows whats wrong with him, Bitton was a stop gap and imo the other two are not CL level. So while most of us agree that we need improvement, can you see us spending serious money there, unless we shift some of those mentioned
