We thought Neil Lennon would ring in the changes but he hasn’t half!

There are starts for Ismaila Soro, David Turnbull, Patryk Klimala and probably most surprisingly, Conor Hazard!

There’s nothing to play for tonight in a competitive sense but the bhoys who have got their starts will hopefully be motivated to play out of their skin to try and show the manager they can start more games going forward.

Bain and Barkas have both been disappointing so it stands to reason we go with Hazard who has a lot to prove himself.

There’s nothing to lose.

Shane Duffy getting his first start since the start of November should also be interested. The player must be desperate to make amends for his past mistakes.

So it might not be a big night in the context of the season but it is a big night for the players on the fringe of the squad.

Cameron Harper on the bench also gives way to the excitement with the young midfielder continuing to impress at youth level.

Let’s hope for a good performance and something to get our season going before Kilmarnock visit on Sunday.
