CHRIS SUTTON has hit back at Dave King over his midweek comments which suggest Celtic’s dominance is coming to an end.

The BT Sports pundit branded the comments as ‘silly’ and believes Celtic are still far enough away from the Ibrox club to do ten in a row, as long as they invest in their own squad going forward.

“It just needs the right moves to see it over the line because, despite Dave King’s silly statements about Rangers being close to the dominant force, they are still far enough away that Celtic will get over the line with the right recruitment and moves in the next two years.” Sutton told RecordSport.

Every year since The Rangers made their top-flight debut we have heard fighting talk from the Ibrox club but very little action. They have gone through managers and a ridiculous amount of player turnover too as they try to compete with Celtic.

The bhoys, for the most part, keep their head down and do their talking on the park. Neil Lennon said as much yesterday when he was asked to comment on Dave King’s statement. The interim Celtic manager not rising to any of the noise.

Celtic are closing in on a treble treble while they continue to bump their gums.
