A Celtic win in the Glasgow derby never fails to provide a wealth of fallout and today is no different.
The Bhoys were professional throughout the 90 minutes with a Jota header late in the first half proving decisive.
Despite yet another poor derby showing in which they were defeated, one of the Rangers’ players came out and made an almost hysterical claim.
A headline in the Daily Record said that John Lundtram insists Rangers can still beat Celtic and that they are continuously making the same errors in Glasgow derbies.
For the fifth time out of a possible six this season, Lundstram’s side have been deservedly beaten by the Hoops yet the post match excuses keep on being wheeled out.
Indeed Chris Sutton quoted the Daily Record’s Tweet with the article on Lundtrsam’s excuses, saying he thought the Gers would’ve waited a little while longer to start making certain claims:

After every derby, it seems like new excuses are conjured up.
Today’s match was no different in terms of what has been said but as of Sutton, they did come relatively earlier than usual.
