CHRIS SUTTON has reacted to the farcical decision by the SFA to let Alan McGregor off the hook for kicking out at Kristoffer Ajer.
This is the second week in a row where the goalkeeper’s violent conduct has gone unpunished.
He clattered into Motherwell player Peter Hartley quite deliberately during the club’s 3-3 draw at Fir Park, and McGregor followed it up this week with a sly kick at Ajer as he was on the ground.
The explanation given was no unanimous decision could be reached during the consultation to charge the goalkeeper with violent conduct.
This has given players a licence to be thugs during any given SPFL match in the future.
We have already seen the SFA take a lenient approach to another Ibrox player kicking out at a fellow professional.
Whatever side you stand on, the ludicrous nature of this decision is Scottish football in a nutshell when it comes to the people running or trying to run our game.

us who are of the paranoid age are not in the least surprised again it goes to show the level of corruption in Scottish football when rangers are involved the panel and their lodge number should be released to the public.
