Steven Gerrard has just had his watershed Pedro Caixinha moment without even stepping foot in a bus.

The Ibrox manager has bemoaned the lack of 86 minute games instead of the traditional 90 minutes we have all grown up with as the main reason behind his title failure last season.

Chris Sutton read the comments in the media this morning and absolutely rinsed the former Liverpool man for the pathetic nature of his comments.

This was something which was peddled by a lot of Ibrox fans after they watched Celtic win another league title and another treble. Screaming about Celtic’s ability to turn one point into three late in the game. Sorry Stevie bhoy but if that had been a team you were involved in you would simply be saying that’s what champions do.

If the AC Milan Liverpool game in Istanbul finished at half time, Liverpool would have lost the Champions League that year, incredible what can happen over 90 minutes – what do you think?

  1. Did Gerrard not score a 94th minute equaliser against West Ham to forced the game into extra time in the F A cup which Liverpool went on to win. Prick

  2. whingeing waster any wonder he never sampled the league in England and long may it continue in the SPL .The job he has at present could not make him go any lower than a snakes behind let’s hope he continues at that level at Ibroke.

  3. Same old Sevco (2nd R————s), always looking to do it outwith the rulebook.
Never within the guidelines. Absolute frauds.
