CHRIS SUTTON has taken to social media to wish former Celtic defender Darren O’Dea good luck in retirement with the Irishman set to hang up his boots at the end of the season.

The Englishman recalled being a senior Celtic player when Darren asked for a lift to his to where he was staying..

Just picturing a very annoyed Sutton trying to drop Darren off at the nearest corner!

Darren will officially retire at the end of the season once Dundee have played their last game of the season.

O’Dea has played football all over the world and has done well for himself since leaving the club in 2012.

He will always be remembered for scoring the extra time goal against the old Rangers at Hampden in the final of the League Cup before Aiden McGeady made it two with a penalty on the day.

Let’s hope he’s found his digs by now.
