CHRIS SUTTON replied to a a Celtic fan who believed the club should look to now sell Moussa Dembele to fund a new defender going forward.

While bringing in a sturdy defence is something many Celtic fans have at the top of their list, the forrmer Celtic striker warned of the consequences if Celtic part with Moussa.

With the major signing of Odsonne Edouard, Celtic have strengthened their attacking options but Chris is correct, if Moussa goes before the qualifiers end, it could spell disaster.

  1. With the current defence we have ,CL qualification is ALREADY diminishing.Dembele WILL be sold eventually, probably sooner rather than later. If the vast majority of any Dembele transfer money was to be spent on funding a solid defensive unit, then that would strengthen our chances of any progress in Europe. We have plenty fire power up front with Griffiths,Eddy,Forrest,Sinclair and McGregor with Morgan and hopefully a rejuvenated Hayes all carrying a goal threat.

  2. Celtic have to sort that defence out the rest of the team is brilliant we need a CB and RB and our team will not be stoped 10inarow bound..Hail Hail??⭐☘???

  3. I agree with Jay Bee nó sale. Yes we have plenty fire power up front and through the middle but it is all going to be needed fot the amount of games coming up we will need to keep what strikers and center field we have.
But Yes we need to invest in some decent defenders OR start producing our Own instead of buying. HH
