Chris Sutton has given a very harsh critique of goalkeeper Scott Bain this afternoon after the goalkeeper conceded an unfortunate first half goal.
Celtic were 2-0 up and cruising when a very low powered shot took TWO deflections on the way into the net.
Sutton believes the keeper should still have saved it and lay the blame for conceding at the door of Celtic’s keeper.
Former footballer and Celtic fan Trevor Sinclair defended Bain, but Sutton was having none of it.
I think any keeper would be disappointed letting that in despite the deflections… https://t.co/IJuVo9bvQR

The goal was a poor one to lose, but it had no negative outcome on the game for Celtic. The bhoys were in relentless form and Edouard hasn’t skipped a beat.
Bain isn’t expected to be Celtic’s number one going forward and I think Sutton was trying to make the point he should not have been on Sunday.
A great start for the bhoys under the circumstances of an empty stadium.
Sutton is being completely harsh here. What a negative attitude.
Scott Brown giving away a needless free kick and failing in his attempt to clear it should shoulder most of the blame.
the shot had no pace
Says the man with no pace
Wake up chris
Stop being so critical
Get behind the team
Forster let 2 in against livingston ffs
Lay off scott bain
