The SWPL title race comes to a climax this weekend as Celtic Women look to win the league for the first time.
It has been an enthralling season for Fran Alonso’s side so far and heading into the final game of the 2022/23 campaign, the Ghirls sit in third place, just two points behind Glasgow City who occupy first and a solitary goal on goal difference behind Rangers in second.
In the final weekend of the season, Celtic host Hearts in Airdire at 4.10pm meanwhile Glasgow City travel to Ibrox at the same time.
Both games are set to be live on TV at the same time, the Celtic game on BBC Sport Scotland and the Glasgow City one on BBC Alba.
It will be a thrilling final day and to win the league, Celtic obviously need to take care of fourth place Hearts and hope for a draw between Glasgow City and Rangers or Rangers to defeat City but the Hoops to score more goals than their arch rivals.
One wouldn’t bet against the Ghirls doing it and it would be great to see the title come back to Parkhead.
