CELTIC stars Mikael Lustig and Scott Bain took to social media to praise Kristofer Ajer after the player posted an image of himself and Bain taken shortly after the final whistle against Hamilton.

The bhoys won 3-0 on the day BUT it could have gone a lot differently had Ajer not been alert to the danger Hamilton posed when the game was only at 1-0.

The post match image showed just exactly the kind of tackle Ajer had to make to ensure the game stayed 1-0. Against the run of play, Hamilton broke with James Keatings taking a great touch and steadied himself to shoot. The big Norwegian stretched out and took the ball away from the former Celtic youth player and the ball trickled by the post.

Lustig hailed it as ‘tackle of the season’ while Scott Bain applauded his efforts on the big man’s social media page BUT referred to Ajer as ‘Daddy Long Neck’.
