CELTIC fans are settling into ANOTHER international break and as we sit waiting for the bhoys to get back to business in a period where we can finish top of our group in the Europa League and win our first trophy of the season, this is the last time we get to exhale before we’re ringing in the bells and wishing Jacki Bird wasn’t on our TV.

With no Celtic for the next 11 days, it’s a great chance to look back at the last round of fixtures and take stock.

What comes next will be utter madness. Two more games in Europe, a League Cup Final, two Glasgow Derbies and a chance to try and create space at the top of the table.

International breaks may be unwanted but this one might just be the break we all need before the madness sets in. Once Celtic get back to domestic action, the games come thick and fast with absolutely no time to dwell on one game after the final whistle has blown.

December is a time where you can see what a team is made of. It will test the squad, resources and what you’re made of. Celtic have usually done well during this period and their form before the international break suggests they can keep going.

What constitutes a great December? A trophy in the cabinet, the top spot in the Europa League and at least three points ahead of our nearest rivals.

Can it be done? Yes! But it’s going to be some effort.
