A Livingston fan was less than amused with his visit to Celtic Park yesterday – not just because of the result.

Dave Black posted his view of the game on Saturday and suggested Celtic were ‘taking the p***’ by charging £25 for this restricted view seat in the away end.

The ticket would have been sold as a restricted view and the fans sitting in that end would have been warned about the pillar.

It’s not ideal for any fan but the club do their best to make sure away fans are aware of this.

Livingston brought a decent crowd with them on Saturday who looked to enjoy the occasion.

They watched their team go down 3-1 to the champions, there’s a good chance during the game Dave may have wanted to hide behind the pillar anyway.

  1. I agree with the Livi supporter take these seats away I’ve experience it drive you nuts .that was at the beginning and I had a season book I had to go and get it sorted Eddie Kelly follow fallow since the mid Forty’s hail hail .

  2. The guy has a point, but he was fore warned, I think a gesture of goodwill would be in order. If we are spending money on ground improvements the least the supporters should have is a full view of the pitch. No?

  3. Is It A Pillar Or Just An Illusion, No Doubt A Sevconian Shall Voice His/Her Deepest & Sincere Thoughts, The Green Pillar Part 2 Coming Soon !!!

  4. The guy is bang on. £25 to sit behind a concrete pillar is taking the piss. Remove these seats and stop embarrassing the club.

  5. I hear the 800 Sevco seats will be in a straight line directly behind this pillar. However Celtic FC do apologise in advance but we have to accommodate the our home support in order to suck the life out of the Old Firm atmosphere until the matter is sorted at Ibrokes…On a more upbeat note this will at least give Sevco supporters every opportunity to hide every time the ball hits the back of their net, which judging by today’s “class” performance will be quite frequent.
