CELTIC are ramping up their efforts to land their attacking targets this month with the bhoys in desperate need of some extra fire power and according to the Sunday Post, talks are still ongoing over the transfer of Andraz Sporar.
Sporar, 25, has been prolific for Bratislava this term and Celtic see him as someone who can come in and help with goals from the off in January.
It all comes down to the fee his club hold out for as wages shouldn’t be a stumbling block for the Scottish Champions.
The Sunday Post writes:
‘Talks are underway with his top target, £5m-rated Slovan Bratislava star, Andraz Sporar.
‘The 25-year-old has a haul of 20 goals in 26 appearances for club and country this season, and the Slovenian internationalist has also attracted the interest of Dynamo Kiev and Bristol City.’
Celtic are top of the SPFL table at the winter break but certainly need to make sure they do all they can to stay there in the coming weeks when they get back from the winter break.
The bhoys are currently in Dubai and like previous seasons, should Celtic sign anyone, they will join up with the club in the middle east.
Celtic have the money so sign him right away, come on the hoops.
