Celtic Goalkeeper Conor Hazard has gone straight into the Partick Thistle side for their game with Dundee Utd this afternoon.

The Glasgow club, managed by former Celtic Gary Caldwell have been struggling all season and are just one point from dead last in the Championship.

Caldwell used his connections at Celtic to manufacture a move for the 20-year-old Northern Ireland goalkeeper and is hoping he will make an instant impact.

Thistle are up against Dundee untied who sit third in the table halfway through the season.

Hazard signed a new four-year deal with Celtic last season before being shipped out to Falkirk for the second half of last season.

After playing in Celtic’s reserve team the past six months, the player is now getting the opportunity to get more game time.

The big goalie will be tasked with helping Thistle put points on the board, and they’re hoping that starts today in Dundee.

All the best to him during the loan spell.
