CELTIC have named the team that will face Hearts for tonights 19:45 kick-off.

The team was as expected, with the exception of the right-wing, Forest replaces the on-form Abada who drops to the bench.

Matt O’Riley makes his debut tonight, he will play in front of Nir Bitton in the midfield. All eyes will be on the new bhoy to see how he settles in.

Jota comes in for his first start since his injury, which was picked up while playing tonights opposition. He will help lead the attack with Giakoumakis playing centrally.

The captain’s armband has been given to Nir Bitton, this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. As good a leader the former English number 1 is, I always believe the captain should be outfield.

Turning to the bench, it is incredibly weak and highlights why the business completed this January was essential. The only proven attacking option is Liel Abada. Ben Doak also has a seat on the bench again, if he is to feature tonight he will be the second-youngest player to ever do so. Jullien is also on the bench as he looks to return to the field after 13 months out.

Overall, considering the injuries and international call-ups the squad is having to deal with, the team is pretty strong. Three points should be achievable tonight.
