Fan footage from the stands has captured the brilliant moment Callum Osmand celebrated his first goal for Celtic during the 3–1 extra-time win over Rangers at Hampden Park and it’s a moment that perfectly summed up what it means to play for the club.
The 19-year-old striker, who only joined the Hoops in the summer, came off the bench to seal the victory in Sunday’s Premier Sports Cup semi-final, capping off a dream week under interim boss Martin O’Neill.
In the fan-shot video, Osmand can be seen sprinting towards the by-line after firing home Celtic’s third goal before being mobbed by his teammates. The young forward then turns to the Celtic end, pounding the badge on his chest and kissing it in front of thousands of ecstatic supporters.

It was a moment of pure emotion and pride, one that showed how much it meant to the teenager, who admitted post-match that it was “the best day of my life.”
After struggling for minutes under Brendan Rodgers, Osmand has come to life under O’Neill, making a huge impression in both of his appearances so far.
