Brendan Rodgers continued his praise of the Celtic support post-match this afternoon, after previously questioning some supporters’ decision to boo a back pass and chant Kieran Tierney’s name at full time last Sunday against St Mirren at Celtic Park.
With some looking to create a rift between the Irishman and the Celtic support, Rodgers came out midweek against Dundee United and highlighted that the support makes the club.
He continued the same tone this afternoon in Dingwall.
Rodgers said: (The Celtic Way), “One thing I want to say today is the commitment of the supporters. As I said to the guys before the game, there are many reasons why we want to win the game.
“But I know a group of supporters that jumped onto a boat at 3.30 this morning to travel across to then drive a drive up to here that we drove yesterday. And they were going to stand in the freezing cold and watch a game. And I said, that is commitment.
“So, at the very bare minimum, we have to match that commitment. If we do, then our quality and everything else will take us through the game. So, brilliant for the supporters to be here in awful weather.”

It is great to hear that Rodgers is aware of the lengths that some supporters go to watch Celtic at other teams.

At other teams, the manager simply doesn’t get the club and the culture from supporters.
However, the Irishman certainly gets this, and on a freezing day like today in Dingwall, the Hoops came out 4-1 winners, putting on a late show for the traveling support
