MARTIN BOYLE will only leave Easter Road if the price is right, Maloney has said. Boyle has been linked to Celtic at the start of the January transfer window, but the £3 million asking price is too steep for Celtic.

As it stands, Boyle will remain in Scotland until at least the end of the season.

Shaun Maloney has stated the 28-year-old’s head has not turned and is preparing for his side’s trip to Celtic Park.

Boyle is still in contention to face Celtic on Monday night, despite the links. Postecoglou has told the fans not to expect any more incomings and warned that agents will use Celtic’s name to get a greater valuation of their player.

It seems that this link may have been just that, Celtic don’t need a winger at the moment with the addition of Maeda who can play on the wings and Karamoko’s return from injury also gives Ange another option.
