LEIPZIG Star Marcel Halstenberg has admitted the red hot atmosphere got to some of the German side’s players in their 2-1 defeat in Glasgow.
On the night, Celtic deserved their victory and although Leipzig equalised late on it only took the bhoys 14 seconds from kick off to retake the lead
Speaking to the official Leipzig website Marcel thought his side were sloppy.
? Marcel #Halstenberg: "We were a step behind too often today and made too many misplaced passes. Perhaps the atmosphere got to one or two of us as well. Now we've got to move on – on Sunday we're back in Bundesliga action against Leverkusen." #CELRBL pic.twitter.com/rNWlG7DOXg

Celtic’s win puts them right back into the hunt for a place in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Rodgers men now sit on six points, the same as Leipzig.
The German side need to go to Salzburg next with the Austrian side needing just one point to qualify for the next round.
Celtic will have to up their away game if they want to take all three points at Rosenborg at the end of this month.
The final matchday will see a hopefully already qualified Salzburg visit Celtic Park.
It’s all to play for.
