OSDONNE EDUOARD has given his biggest hint yet that he will be at Celtic next season speaking to a French media outlet.

The striker has been on a good run of form before being injured against Hearts last week and with the Frenchman due back at PSG after the Scottish Cup final – he has given his biggest indication he wants to stay beyond the summer.

“I am happy at the club, with the team, the coach.” Osdonne said.” He has given me a lot of confidence. The aim is to stay here. For me, this would be the best option.

“It’s a top club with a top coach. He will help me with my development. It would be a pride for me to wear the Espoirs (France U21) jersey next season. I want to show what I am worth.”

Celtic are working hard behind the scenes to make sure Osdonne is here for the longterm after impressing in recent months.

With Moussa Dembele widely expected to move on this summer, as admitted by Brendan Rodgers it will do Celtic no harm to sign this lad up.

The fee, however, seems to be a mystery with some believing it is below the £7million quoted and others believing it’s more than this.

If the latter is true, will Celtic break their transfer record for the youngster?
