NEIL LENNON has tried to push the idea of inclusion amongst his whole squad and with the fixture list being so busy it hands opportunity to those who are currently out of sight.

However, the Celtic manager is kidding himself on if he believes that.

The Irishman has struck gold with his new recruits and old bhoys and now he has a winning formula he is not for tinkering with the nucleus of the team. Claims fringe players will come in during December will only come to fruition if they are enforced changes.

If you don’t think so you just have to look the turnover from the Lazio game to the Motherwell fixture three days later. There was ONE change from the team who beat Lazio, this shows Neil Lennon has his favourites and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

What it does mean though unless injuries to key personnel happen in the month of December there will be very limited opportunities for fringe bhoys – lads like Scott Sinclair, Marian Shved, Daniel Arzani even Greg Taylor who can’t get into the side at left-back with our first choice left-back injured.

Neil and trust go a long way and he trusts the nucleus of his squad – not that his younger and fringe players can’t do a job – it’s just not going to happen while the team keep winning. With every goal in every SPFL game counting, a League Cup Final and two Europa League games where we can cement our top spot, there’s no room for manoeuver or bleeding these players in at the moment.

The Celtic manager will get all he can out of his Celts, knowing full well a month of recovery in the sun during the January shutdown should be enough to reinvigorate them.
