Celtic have been in all sort of record-breaking situations ever since Brendan Rodgers took over. Earlier this season Celtic smashed two Scottish SPFL transfer records. One was with the outgoing Dembele for a rumored fee just shy of 20 million pounds. The other was the incoming signing of Edouard who’s fee was just shy of the ten million pound mark.
Tonight, Celtic brought in their third signing of the transfer window with Vakoun Issouf Bayoto to bolster their attack. It’s not often a club is proud to see one of their players leaving in the transfer window but it is with pride that Dunajská Streda part with their player tonight.
Bayo's transfer to @CelticFC is the biggest of our history. For the first time, a player leaves Dunaszerdahely directly to the British Isles, in addition to a giant club that has 131 years of tradition and has been outstanding on the international stage. #proud @vakoun45

The Slovak team have broken a record of their own. It’s a rather refreshing reaction to be honest. There is clearly respect for Celtic. Celtic fans will be hoping that Bayo can hit the ground running and get among the goals and further the pride for the Slovak side. A four-year deal proves that Rodgers has faith in the players potential.
Nice news.
Welcome to the Celtic family Bayo.
This guy will really light up Celtic , he’s lightening fast and smells goals from 25 yards – watch him on the box – he’s impossible to mark ! This guy will win Celtic 8 in a row – and with Weah alongside , it’s useless trying to sit when he’s on the ball – Thank you Celtic Here We Go ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
