Celtic accepted a bid from an unnamed Qatari club in the summer for the services of Tom Rogic. Many supporters were surprised the club had accepted a bid and were braced for the Australian to end his Celtic stay. Given the amount of money being thrown about in Qatar, it’s easy for any player to have their head turned.

Just as Celtic supporters were posting their best Rogic moments, news emerged the Hampden hero had rejected the move and was staying at the club after all.

Tom didn’t fancy the move and still has a long term deal with Celtic to see out as reported by The Herald.

As we enter November, Tom has finally been utilised over the past few games and has managed to make an impact.

The Australian has four assists in his last two games and could have had more if our finishing had been up to scratch at certain points.

The midfielder offers something different and can find passes which nobody else can see. His team-mates know they can make runs safe in the knowledge Tom will likely find them.

Not selling the player in the summer could prove to be a more pivotal as the season goes on. With James Forrest out for the foreseeable and Ryan Christie on the wing, Tom could be a star player going into the new year.
