Celtic are set to head to Ibrox this Sunday where they can virtually wrap up the title with a win against their nearest rivals.

However, at the moment, world events have left the game hanging in uncertainty.

The coronavirus spreading throughout the world has seen different governments take action on many different levels.

Italy, the worst affected, has had Serie A games cancelled or behind closed doors. Celtic’s euro rivals Copenhagen have decided to take the same tact and many games across Europe are in jeopardy of being cancelled or played behind closed doors.

This will be a big story this week and as the UK monitor the situation. If the rate of people catching the infection gathers pace, there could be tough measures put in place – including an empty Ibrox.

The SPFL haves Coronavirus response team who will oversee big decisions in the interest of safety.
