Tomorrow, a new era at the club begins as Dominic McKay starts his role within the Celtic hierarchy.

This season has been an absolute disaster with not much to take from it.

One thing we can take though is the amount of work that needs to be done in the coming months with those involved having a mammoth job when it comes to recruitment and what not.

Realistically, this should feel like an exciting time. New beginnings at the club with some fresh faces coming in the door.

Right now though, it doesn’t. It’s probably more of a scary thought, purely down to the task that is at hand to build ourselves back up for next season.

There is just so much deadwood within the club at the moment that needs to be shifted on, which is a tough task in itself. Whilst also having to recruit people to replace them.

In attendance at this afternoon’s game, McKay would have already known how big a job he has on his hands. But after that, he might be thinking that it is even bigger than he first imagined it to be.
