THERE is a lot up in the air at the moment and the dust is still settling so you can maybe forgive people for overlooking this ‘small’ detail BUT an important detail nonetheless; where is Vakoun Bayo?

Celtic’s only permanent January signing has only seen a couple of minutes on the field against Kilmarnock two weeks ago but has not been since. Bayo played a game for the reserve team after the Kilmarnock tie but on Monday the striker was not in the reserve squad as the young bhoys went to Rugby Park.

The £2million man was banging goals in for his former club before the end of last year and has yet to get going at Celtic – he wasn’t even on the bench at Tynecastle either.

It’s a strange one because Brendan Rodgers has brought the player in and not given him any meaningful game time while Neil Lennon knows very little about him. Surely at some point the player needs to get a run out, he will be here next season while a lot of the other players head back to their parent clubs.

  1. He will surely get his chance. Even more so now that BR has gone. Rodgers had favourites and stuck to them week in week out. He was the cause of Griff’s problens i think. He went from No1 choice to No3 pretty quickly. Lost all his confidence. Hopefully thin gs will change for the better.
