SCOTT SINCLAIR has not been seen since a cameo against Motherwell early in August. The Englishman looked set to leave Celtic before the English Premier league deadliner back on August 8 but any deal that was there fell through.

Since then the player can’t even get a seat on Neil Lennon’s bench – not even against Dunfermline at home and Lewis Morgan was preferred to the player again on the bench at Ibrox on Sunday.

With the Scottish transfer deadline at midnight tonight there’s still an opportunity for Scott to head out.

Website Football Insider writes that Sunderland are looking to bring him in with a last gasp deal.

League One and League Two have until tonight to bring in any new faces as the English deadline only applies to the Premier League and Championship. Heading to League One wouldn’t be ideal for the winger but it’s clear Neil Lennon or Celtic want him off the books. Could there be movement by the end of the day?
