Eagle eyed Celtic account @aboutCeltic has noticed much touted Celtic target, Fernando Henrique has began following the club on social media.
A report from Brazilian outlet Globo, claimed Celtic was a likely destination for the Brazilian.
Fernando is poised to leave his current club Gremio and Celtic have been credited with a major interest.
Given the youngster’s age and in-experience, he would most certainly be heading to Celtic as a project.
If the club did go through with this signing, asking a young lad to uproot his life and live in a completely different culture is a huge gamble.
A relatively inexpensive gamble but we’ve witnessed Celtic bringing youngsters in from further afield over the years, only for them to not make the grade.
There still doesn’t seem to be much cohesion when it comes to scouting or a clear plan of what we should be doing.
Fernando following the club might sound harmless but over the years, this has become a major tell as players get set to sign. We’ll see.
