Scott Brown has been an unbelievable servant to Celtic Football Club. The Celtic captain has lifted 18 trophies in his time wearing the Hoops. His contribution to the club seen him get well wishes from fans if he chose to move on.

It was no secret that Australia had come calling, it was all very much out in the open. Scott Brown mulled over the possibility of leaving Celtic for months. He said the lack of pressure on him from Peter Lawell and Brendan Rodgers took the stress out of the situation. Speaking with Sky Sports Brown said the offer on the table was “very very lucrative.”

In the end, the Celtic skipper said it came down to wanting to continue to play in front of 60,000 Celtic fans. Brown said he didn’t know what was on the other side, he didn’t know the crowds that would turn up or if the pitches were ok.

Some people said Brown’s legs were gone after his last Ibrox display (When he was returning from a lay off). He was man of the match today. After 85 minutes had passed Brown was running around like a teenager trying to break into the first team.
