NEIL LENNON will not need to motivate his bhoys too much for the visit of Cluj on Thursday. The last time the Romanian’s were in town they shocked Celtic – beating them 4-3 on the night and sending the treble treble champions crashing out of the Champions league qualifier.
It was a night where Celtic had around 20 minutes of madness in which they lost their grip on the tie.
After the game the Cluj players and coaching staff milked the moment for all its worth and disrespected their hosts by doing their own version of the huddle on the centre circle after the game. The image of them lapping it up at Celtic Park should be Neil Lennon\ss secret weapon to make sure all his players are fired up.
Cluj’s actions after the game were something that was certainly befitting the way they spoke about Celtic before the tie.
Some of the lads weren’t at the club when this result happened and there will be others who have tried to blank that particular evening out.
Neil Lennon should be pinning the image below to the dressing room wall in the lead up to Thursday’s game. Remind the players they are playing for some of their pride as well as three important Europa League points.
