Celtic were beaten soundly by their Glasgow rival’s again on Sunday afternoon 67 days after Neil Lennon left the role.

Even though it’s been 67 days, we’ve been left to fend for ourselves and feeding off crumbs from sources and the mainstream media.

Celtic fans have not been engaged by the club to any meaningful extent to this point.

The season has been a disaster on the field but it’s been a PR nightmare off it for the Celtic board who have kept us at arms length.

Taking social distancing to the extreme when dealing with a fan base who propped the club up to the tune of £25m even though they knew they wouldn’t get inside the stadium.

There can’t be any more silence. Action and the plan going forward has to come out next week.

Incredibly, the club have used the silent treatment more often than not this season after shocking results.

The board rolled the dice on the league title with Neil Lennon two years ago and they completely and utterly blew it. When we could see the cliff edge, while we were screaming at board to take action, they chose to actively ignore the fan base and put it out in the media that the fans were entitled and spoiled.

The rebuild needs to be happening now. The board must come out and show their hand and tell the supporters what’s going on.

I’m confident of this finally happening – not because it’s the right thing to do but because the financial ramifications of keeping us in the dark any longer.

  1. Memo to Mr. McKay, what’s needed?
TWO Wingers – That can run and cross the ball onto the penalty spot every time
TWO Backs – That can run fast and can run the opposition off the ball.
TWO Wrestlers that can maul players who have the ball, Tavenier does it every game so it must be LEGAL.
TWO Centre backs – That will do the obvious, WIN the ball, even better if they can win the ball in the air, Heading is essential.
TWO Forwards – Who can score goals and link up play from the midfield.

Referee WALSH showed his colours with the balance of 50/50 decisions going TRIFC way. Couldn’t wait to send McGregor off. Lazy ref and now known for his allegiance to the buns.

We are SOFT so SOFT, scared to tackle, and lazy, very very lazy.

Build on Welsh – Soro – McGregor – A New No1 Goalie – Forrest (if fit)
Dig deep Desmond, you let it slide, now pay up. Success is our goal, do it.
