NEIL LENNON has confirmed the club has received interest from clubs regarding Jack Hendry with the player surplus to requirements at the club.

Hendry has not managed to play his way into a first team spot since making the move from Dundee over 18 months ago.

However, many people thought Hendry’s absence from the first team was because Neil Lennon was not keen on the player, while this might be the case, Hendry is currently out injured Lennon confirmed.

“He’s still not fully fit.” The Irishman told CelticTV.

“There has been a few phone calls, but no movement just yet.”

It doesn’t seem as if Neil Lennon is going to fight to keep him with the comments clear there’s room for movement.

Brendan Rodgers signed the Scottish defender but in the games he has played for the club, Hendry has been found wanting.

If he can get out on a loan deal and get some confidence playing weekly, he could come back a better player.

Right now, Celtic fans aren’t interested in outgoings right now with everyone fixed on potential incomings.
