Celtic have recorded their first win on the road in the SPFL since Valentine’s day thanks to a late winner from loan signing Jota.

Nir Bitton had a glorious chance to put the Bhoys one up from a header inside the six-yard box within the first ten minutes but somehow managed to head wide.

Shortly after that miss, that man Kyogopopped up with a goal after a brilliant cross from David Turnbull to put the Bhoys one up at Pittodrie. That’s eight goals now in ten games and how Celtic missed him over the past few weeks.

Unfortunately, Celtic went flat after their goal and let Aberdeen get a foothold back in the game. Eventually, the Aberdeen pressure secured their equaliser when Lewis Fergus scored luckily from a corner.

The Dons looked like the team that would score next with Scott Brown forcing Joe Hart into a save.

Against the run of play on-loan winger, Jota slotted home on the 84th minute after Adam Montgomery slid him in to give Celtic a 2-1 lead.

Celtic saw out the remainder of the game to record their first away victory of the domestic season.
Psychologically this could be huge for this squad as they travel to Fir Park after the international break.

  1. When are defenders going to start playing like defenders and stop thinking they are attackers these short pass backs amongst themselves and the Hart are giving me heart palpitations.
Nothing attacking about playing around your own penalty box sooner or later we will get punished.
