CELTIC don’t have a massive squad at the moment. Ange Postecoglou has played patched up sides with almost nobody of note on the bench to do anything when games are on a knife-edge.

We must strengthen in January and next summer to make sure we aren’t in a precarious position when it comes to the squad.

There are three players at Celtic whose contracts are up next summer and right now all three of them could most likely leave.

Ewan Henderson, Karamoko Dembele and Anthony Ralston.

Ewan looks 100% like his time is up at Celtic. The midfielder signed a new deal under Brendan Rodgers not long before the Irishman made his hasty exit. Ewan was starting to play games in the first team under Rodgers but was quickly stuck back in the reserves by Neil Lennon shortly after his arrival

Karamoko Dembele is a player fans thought would come good in the first team and we would sell for millions. Right now, it looks as if the winger will leave the club with very little game time under his belt and a lot of ‘what-ifs’. The injury in pre-season hampered any chance Karamoko had to get game time and be convinced to sign a new Celtic deal. There has been so much fuss over the winger but he’s not made it yet – the youngster is likely to move on.

Anthony Ralston has the best shot of winning a new deal. It would be a turnaround when many fans believe, under different circumstances, the club wouldn’t have triggered the extra year in his deal to take Anthony to next summer. The lad will run through brick walls for Celtic, and could be a squad player when Juranovic finally finds his feet.
