Celtic need a left back solution that doesn’t involve Josip Juranovic playing out of position. Anthony Ralston and Josip should be time sharing the role at right back and we should have a proper plan at left back.
Josip doesn’t look totally comfortable in the position but ours in a decent shift. We have Adam Montgomery, Liam Scales and Boli Bolingoli for the position – all three overlooked as Josip continues to get the nod.
Greg Taylor has the position down until a shoulder injury intruded his season. Even with Taylor coming back, if Ange believes the options behind Greg aren’t good enough, we must go and sign a left back in the January window.
Liam Scales looks out of the picture at present and seemingly not done enough. Boil just randomly pops up in the starting XI from time to time and Adam Montgomery has not done much since his assist against Aberdeen when Jota grabbed the winner.
It’s time to play the best team available in their correct positions. Juranovic is likely to continue in the role, unless Ange has a change of heart.
