CELTIC were back to their best in their 4-1 over St Johnstone on Christmas Eve.

Postecoglou made three changes heading into the match, after expressing his frustrations with Wednesday night’s performance.

Reo Hatate started at right-back and performed very well, along with all the changes Postecoglou made.

It was a great performance from Celtic, despite VAR’s interventions.

Reo Hatate Stars in New Position

When the Japanese midfielder signed for Celtic, there were some suggestions that he could play multiple positions and Ange was bringing in a utility player. After only playing in midfield under the Aussie boss, he starred in his new role and showed he’s one of Scotland’s finest right-backs – and he’s not even a defender!

Kyogo Doubters Silenced

Kyogo was great in Celtic’s win, grabbing a brace while doing so. However, it wasn’t just his goals that were impressive, his movement and link up play was great and made for a pleasing watch.

Mooy the Difference Maker

Mooy was magnificent in midfield, the midfielder’s addition made a difference glung forward. Everything seemed to flow through the Aussie in the final third, with his passing top notch.
