CELTIC won 2-1 in a hard fought game at Fir hill. The first league game back after the winter break saw Celtic go behind after conceding a penalty in the first half.
Thankfully a Sinclair penalty and Griffiths goal gave Celtic all three points on the night.
But what have we learned from tonight?
- Mikael Lustig needs to find form quickly.
- Leigh Griffiths value to the team cannot be underestimated.
- Celtic need Rogic/Roberts back immediately.
Lustig has been struggling in recent months and a nightmare first half seen him hooked for Leigh Griffiths at half time. The Swede needs to refind form and quickly!
Leigh showed once again that no matter the noise around him with other strikers he can pop up when it matters. There will still be goals if Dembele goes!
Celtic in the final third have struggled, without Tom Rogic or Patrick Roberts to provide a major spark some of Celtic’s build up play seems laboured at times. Having both back would see Celtic’s goal tally improve!
Griff is always good for a goal.I think he is our best striker.Ive lost count over the last few seasons he has saved our bacon.Lustig is at the tail end of his Celtic career.It beggars belief that we havent signed anyone who could make the difference in the Europa.Zenit will destroy us if we dont get our acts Together..HH
