Celtic fans who took the opportunity to buy a ticket to watch the game inside the stadium in Paris tonight have cruelly had their tickets cancelled – many of whom were already in the city.

After it being reported a small number of Celtic supporters would be allowed in the ground it appears as if PSG have reneged.

Affected ticket holders received the message blow around midnight on Monday – one of our writers being one of them.

We understand their still will be a Celtic presence with the resourceful Celtic support managing to find tickets for the event. This might be the last chance in a while Celtic fans can sit in a stadium and watch their team unless they are drawn away in Champions League qualifiers in countries which will allow spectators.

Celtic take on PSG at 6pm Celtic Park time before heading back to Glasgow where they will begin final preparations before the start of the season and a hectic fixture schedule.
