KIERAN TIERNEY has responded to rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League next season after more reports surfaced over the weekends.
The noise coming from down south is that Kieran Tierney is Jose Mourinho’s number one target for the left back position at Old Trafford but anyone who believes a deal is in the offing will be bitterly disappointed.
Speaking after Celtic thrashed their Glasgow rivals 4-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final, Kieran poured cold water over the rumours.
Speaking of a potential move: “I’m not thinking about anyone other than Celtic just now.
“I’m enjoying my career here; I’ve just signed a six-year deal, so if that doesn’t say long-term, I don’t know what does.”
Kieran wants to make history with Celtic, his bhoyhood club. Maybe some way down the line the time will be right for the world class talent, but right now he is happy at Celtic.
