Eddie Howe was on DAZN coverage of the EPL on Monday night where he covered the Leeds vs Liverpool game.

The former Bournemouth manager has been under the spotlight in recent times and has been heavily linked with the vacant post at Celtic.

However, the Spurs job coming up on Monday after Jose Mourinho was sacked has many people wondering if Celtic will get their man.

During the broadcast on Monday night, former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood talked up Eddie’s credentials for the Tottenham job with Eddie a few feet away from him.

Sherwood believes Spurs need a young manager who can build a philosophy and a culture at the club. Eddie remained tight lipped and merely smiled.

It’s not what Celtic fans want to hear and when you add in the rumours surrounding Roy Keane still being in contention [Read Here] it’s yet another setback for the hoops faithful.

The fans have been patient as this season has faded away into obscurity. But we’re nearly two months behind Neil Lennon leaving his role and we’re still speculating on who the next manager is going to be.

Why don’t we have something more concrete in place? It’s becoming exhausting.

There’s nothing to say Eddie and Spurs will even have a conversation. After their super league admission, it’s probably not the time for the club to appoint Eddie and would the manager really want to walk into that sort of mess.

  1. I have said all along that Howe was a red herring. I am now more than convinced that he is NOT our man. I have no idea who will come in, so it looks like I am on the same wavelength as our board!. I am beginning too fear for season ticket sales, so surely it is in the best interest of the board to get their fingers out!!.
