TIMO WEAH started only his second game under Neil Lennon at the weekend as the youngster’s loan deal up at the end of the month.

The American has been used sparingly since Lennon has come in with the Irishman opting for Scott Sinclair and Jonny Hayes in his attacking lineup.

However, Lennon’s inclusion of the PSG youngster against Aberdeen would not have been taken lightly and the Celtic manager may have plans for Timo in the last few games of the season before the Cup Final on May 25th.

There is some concern the attacking midfielder might not even make it to the Scottish Cup Final with the USA under 20 side set to be announced for the World Cup in Poland which also starts near the end of May.

If Timo is picked for the squad the youngster will have to leave to head to an American under 20 camp before the cup final leaving him with no chance of playing on the day.

The team selection will become clear on Friday when America releases the roster for the event as SunSport reports. There is hope that Weah might not be included in the USA under 20 squad so he can participate in the full squad come close season.

We await their decision.
