TIMO WEAH has sent a message to the support after a ‘rough night’ at Celtic Park.

The American came on as a second-half sub but could do very little to help the Celtic cause as Valencia executes their game plan to perfection.

It was 2-0 to the Spaniards before Weah and Edouard came onto the field. The team did show a bit more attacking acumen when the changes were made but the bhoys couldn’t find the back of the net.

This was Weah’s first foray into Europe and it won’t be one to remember.

Celtic looked scared and lacked imagination in their passing to try and breakdown the La Liga side.

Valencia came with a game plan and it worked.

Weah, 18, who is with Celtic until the end of the season could make an away day appearance in the Mastella next week as the bhoys look to put a cat among the pigeons with an early goal in Spain.
