Celtic’s game tonight against Hearts is the first of a crazy schedule of nine games in December.
The Hoops sit in second place in the table, two points ahead of the Jambos, whose boss Robbie Neilson and his players are viewing the trip to Glasgow as a chance to leapfrog their opponents.
Celtic lost to Hearts on the opening day of the season and will be out to prove how far they have come since then. The Celtic manager confirmed the return of Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton and both are available for tonight.
Celtic did knock Hearts out of the League Cup with a 3-2 win back in August but a win tonight is vital to stay in touch with the top of the table. It has been widely speculated that Ange has his transfer targets lined up for the January transfer window.
If he can have the same success as he has done with Abada, Jota, Koygo, Carter Vickers, Juranovic and Joe Hart he could be set for a first successful season in charge, something that looked hopeless back in the summer.
The manager was quick to point out to the media this week the importance of taking things day by day and not looking forward too far ahead or getting distracted by shiny objects until the end of the season.
