Australian based Londoner Michael Lynch has had a go at Celtic star Tom logic after Australia’s poor World Cup campaign in Russia.
The media man wrote in FourFourTwo about the need for Tom to step up and do it for 90 minutes and questioned if he is their talisman.
“Does he deliver enough?”
“Is he the great white elephant for Australia or not?
“In certain of these games, he looked fantastic for certain parts of these games and he really looked like he was about to break the game open.
“But he doesn’t do it for 90 minutes.”
It was easy to see Tom’s qualities during Australia’s games but the some of the players around him looked like they shouldn’t even be anywhere near a World Cup.
As we have seen before, it takes a lot for one man to drag a lot of passengers and he can only do so much.
Tom clearly has the ability to be a difference maker if he has the service along with the right talent around him.
Mr. Lynch is aptly named – should be lynched!
